Systemic racism tears at the fiber of organizations, communities, and families. The insidious impact of historical decisions effect almost every aspect of your life regardless of your race or ethnicity. You may be aware of this fact but feel overwhelmed by the challenge of bringing about change. You recognize that change is needed at all scales and across diverse settings and situations, but you do not know how you can make a difference.

In this Adaptive Action Lab, join us to explore tools and perspectives that shift the patterns of racism and “othering.” Explore new habits of thought, action, and interaction to shift toward patterns of systemic equity. Use your own most challenging and persistent experience of the division of difference to explore and apply HSD-based models and methods.

  • See racism and other forms of bias as patterns to be shifted, rather than problems to be solved
  • Experience the power of shared identity and influence in all your interactions
  • Engage with others in ways that create generative and productive encounters

At the close of these sessions, you will be prepared to begin a new journey toward equity and equity in your institution and your community.
