In the past 18 months, or so, the patterns in your life have been interrupted. In some cases, they have been shifted beyond repair--both in your home life and in your work life. The old "normal" is no longer available. You cannot just "go back" to the patterns that existed in the pre-pandemic times. Around the globe, significant changes in social, political, and economic patterns have increased the complexity of your day-to-day existence. In such a complex world, your old stories are not robust enough to represent your current day-to-day experience. You need a new narrative to capture the realities you face and to frame your expectations and assumptions.

A new, powerful narrative can inspire, motivate, and celebrate the patterns you want to create in this new space. Writing a powerful narrative requires you to step into the complexity of your life. Compelling narrative describes that complexity and its impact on the patterns that shape how you think and act.

This AA Lab invites you to weave your own stories into a narrative that reflects a unique and engaging tapestry:

  • See and understand the complexity in your experience in ways that inform action
  • Leverage the complexity in your stories to open a world of opportunity and possibility
  • Weave your stories together to create compelling narrative

In this Adaptive Action Lab, explore with us how we can consider the life patterns we have and the life patterns we want. Use deep self-reflection and Adaptive Action cycles to shape your own new "normal" as you emerge from the chaos of the past months into the uncertainty of the future.
