Julia Herzing

Julia has a joy for life that is contagious. Her love of people comes through in all she does, and it has influenced her career choices in the past two decades, which have converged to inform her role as Director of Operations at the Institute. 

Julia is an excellent communicator, and enjoys using her diverse experience and skill set in the variety of hats she wears at the Institute. Coming from a background of ten years in household/facilities management and operations, she brings proven abilities in leadership, project management and general operations. Three years in sales and account management are a valuable asset to her as she manages the marketing, branding, and business development functions of the Institute. She plans and promotes HSD related courses and trainings, participates in conferences, and conceives of and develops marketing materials to promote the Institute and its offerings. 

Julia handles product management and packaging/sales for HSD Institute products; website development; and oversight of the Institute’s administrative functions. She loves to communicate with the Institute’s curious friends and connected partners, and looking for better ways to support the growing and thriving Institute we know today.
