Maxine Burrell combines coaching skills with experience in engineering, finance, business strategy & planning, commercial development & economic evaluation, organisational culture & individual change and leadership development to partner with clients on their journey.
Maxine has 14 years’ professional experience gained within organisations such as Unilever and BP. She has a proven track record for delivering business results efficiently and effectively. Her roles include; plant engineer, financial control and commercial analyst & advisor, training programme design, facilitation and leadership development, organisational culture change, consulting and coaching. Maxine is undertaking Masters Research to explore the relationship between entrepreneurial identity and organisational culture.
Maxine currently lives in West London with her partner Nick. She has lived in Saudi Arabia and Qatar and has traveled extensively worldwide both for business and pleasure. Her interests/hobbies are learning to fly fixed wing planes (she is partial to jumping out of them too), scuba diving, motor racing, environmental & wildlife conservation and traveling.
She has been involved in sports coaching since she was a teenager, moving into professional coaching in 2003. Her coaching clients span the private and public sectors and have included BP, Westminster Abbey, Ineos, BBC, RCN and smaller consultancies & engineering businesses.
Her industry experience includes energy, chemical, engineering and construction, management consultancies, media and the civil service. She has completed coaching and consultancy assignments in the UK, U.S., Trinidad, Middle East region, Egypt, Russia, West Africa, India, Pakistan, China and Vietnam.
Her coaching and consultancy is tailored to meet the needs of my clients both individually and organisationally, working with what the individual brings to coaching within the organisational context, working creatively either face-to-face, by telephone or via Skype. She has worked with senior leaders as part of leadership development and culture change programmes for the last 7 years. Representative clients and client engagements are as follows; BP, BBC, Royal College of Nursing, Ineos, HCD, ABB, KPMG and i-coach academy.
