I work as a professional business coach and facilitator and a faculty member of i-coach academy supporting students on professional development coaching programmes. Previously with Unilever plc, I am practical and pragmatic. With over 20 years organisational experience, I bring an ability to provide the right level of challenge and insight required for delivering results.
I have made several self-managed career transitions and held a variety of roles within the corporate and public sectors, including developing a coaching culture and effective executive coaching within Unilever, and leading science-based R&D projects and market research projects. Recently I have been involved as a Learning and Development consultant at Cranfield University in strategic projects leading to the design and delivery of various leadership and management programmes.
My passion, and current work for the last 6 years as a business coach, is to support entrepreneurial leaders or individuals who form their own business. I also work as part of larger organisations, helping them develop their leadership style and build a successful and supportive culture.
With three children (two of school age, and one at university), I am married to a company director of a successful Internet marketing business grown from start-up. Having shared in the pains and celebrations of creating and growing an innovative business, I bring a high degree of awareness of the tensions that arise and challenge the success of any transition or drive for personal leadership.
