President of Crossroads Resource Center in Minneapolis, Ken applies systemic approaches in diverse contexts, including evaluation,sustainability, food and energy systems, systemic indicators, economics, literature, and quantum mechanics.  Active in the Systems Technical Interest Group of the American Evaluation Association, he authored a chapter for the AEA anthology, Systems Concepts in Evaluation (2007). 

Ken works with 29 regions in 15 states helping strengthen local food systems, and directed a community visioning and indicator selection process for the city of Minneapolis Sustainability Initiative.  He taught economics at the University of Minnesota and the Harvard Kennedy School.  He is pleased to be an HSDI Associate.
