Meet our staff
Julia Herzing
Julia loves communications, and enjoys using her diverse experience and skill set in the variety of hats she wears at the Institute. Coming from a background of ten years in household/facilities management and operations, she brings abilities in leadership, project management and general operations. Three years in sales and marketing are a valuable asset to her as she manages the marketing, branding, and business development functions of the Institute. She plans and promotes HSD related courses and trainings, participates in conferences, handles product management and sales, and conceives of and develops marketing materials to promote the Institute and its offerings. One of her favorite activities is managing HSD Institute's website development, and she oversees the Institute’s administrative functions. Julia loves to work with HSD Associates and all those curious friends of the Institute, and looks for better ways to support the growing and thriving Institute we know today. She lives with her husband of four years, Jim, who pastors a new and growing church in Big Lake, MN. |
Julia has a joy for life that is contagious. Her love of
people comes through in all she does, and it has influenced her
career choices in the past two decades, which have converged to
inform her role as Director of Operations at the Institute.
